May I start by saying that spam is a crime and not just an annoyance? It crippled Pacific Bell?s mail system some years back and cost each individual user at least two dollars a month in their fees. This does not even address the issues of consent and the greater impact forcing oneself upon another against their will has.
Is it any wonder our society [The US society] is so messed up? Kids shooting people for their shoes and clothing, individual?s being raped and children being molested?. These issues are societal issues and can be linked to the business practices of large corporations that use any tactic they can to get what they want.
The sad part is people buy into the corporate image and forget that their personal life and business life somehow influence each other.
Sad thing really.
