Great Article. I just spent an 1 1/2 last night on my in-laws one year old PC removing 270 Adware, 19 Spywear, and 243 Viruses/Trojans. And I still need to remove the Trojan AdClicker-AF.dll from their machine..

I switched them to Firefox 1.0 and Thunderbird 1.0 and setup Mcaffe to scan once a week automatically. The bad thing is that there on a dial-up and it makes it unbearable to run Windows update..

Needless to say they are now believers.

I will now be paying a montly visit to make sure there machine is running ok. I'm going to try an persuade them to switch to Mac, since all they do is go on ebay, read e-mail, and play solitare.
