You mostly have people on Windows.. And techie's on Linux.. You choose which audience you want to play with and make life miserable for..
Don't get me wrong.. I use Linux as well.. preferring my fewer security holes.. But it isn't the pancea to all the problems.. I certainly don't have spyware on my system.. And whenever the spyware creeps try it on my linux system, i can just trash my user folder and start over anyway..
The article was trying to address the spyware industry.. For me the proper analogy is eating food that is guaranteed to cause cancer.. you sign a small license agreement stating that it is okay.. and then different people are trying to sell you drugs to cure it.. Is that potentially legal???
Our computer are becoming more and more important everyday... Somebody should address the problem about it being available to Gator, My Search and Xupiter
