While this logic applies to some pirates, it certainly doesnt apply to all or even most of them.

In short YES, reducing the price would reduce piracy. There is a definite segement of pirates that pirate Windows because they can't afford it rather than because they get a "thrill" running pirated software.
I agree with most of what he says, just not how he says it.
I especially like the autoupdate twist. If you want to pirate out software, your going to be forcefed our notoriously buggy updates. LOL
