The funny thing about this article is that people believe that they are secure even after the patches... I have one windows box (legit copy) with no patches on it... I use AVG antivirus (free edition) and ZoneAlarm (free edition). I Never use IE or Outlook and I have a linksys cablerouter filtering out everything coming in... Ive never had a problem.
This box is only used for gaming. For email and webbrowsing I use linux (and all my real work)

Look at microsofts track record, do you really feel safe patched or not???
