This has nothing to do with my article. Also, please don't respond with anything ?no more X than Microsoft?. This isn't an argument, and pointing at another operating system that may or may not be affected more seriously by any given issue as a defense serves no purpose whatsoever.

?No central point good reason almost all distros have a central point. This is important ie a distro kernel X has had a patch added that caused a breach does not need to be reported to the www.kernel.org but to the distro.?

That's an entirely different situation. When I talk about this (as mentioned in my article), I'm specifically referring to bugs in the core Linux kernel. The individual distributions should not be responsible for addressing and patching security bugs in the core kernel in a timely and professional fashion.
