Sygate suffers from one of the problems mentioned in the article: pop-up boxes asking whether to allow a connection.

Recently I upgraded the SSH server on a Windows box at work, and found that I couldn't log in anymore. The problem, as it turns out, was that I had to click a pop-up box which said something about how the application had changed and did I still want to let in connections. Yes this is a feature, but if I had been working remotely, it would also have been a major problem, just like it states in the article.
