As to the CCNA, it has problems of its own. Most significantly in my oppinion, the simulations demand a specific answer. For example, the simulation might say to configure a setting. If there are multiple ways of performing the task, the simulation does not take that into account, you essentially have to keep trying methods until you find the method that the particualr simulation wanted. If you are going to have an exam that simulates a router, the entire OS should be there and operate as the actual device would.
