I think that the more hands on the certification the better. This is the way it should be. You should never be able to pass an exam without hands on experience especially at the professional level. I think the more experience the exam requires the better. There are some great ones out there like the CCIE,CISSP,PMP RHCE and all of the Cisco titles with simulations that all have experience requirements or hands on tests. Is it any coincidence that these show up on salary surveys as the top money drawing certifications.
