Wireless tools configured right out of the box? I've tried the newest versions Whoppix and knoppix and found they both recognized at least two of my wireless cards but both failed to run airsnort and kismet correctly. Both the orinoco gold 802.11b and linksys cards that have worked with airsnort and kismet for years failed. I finally reverted back to an older version of knoppix supplied by foundstone at a blackhat class.
