Microsoft and Claria, together at last?
Scott Granneman, 2005-07-13

I don't get mad too easily, but there's one thing guaranteed to really get me steaming, and that's when someone is lying to me. Right now I'm feeling lied to, and while I could be wrong, I don't think I am. Worse, I don't think I'm the only one who's the victim here. I think virtually all of you are having your chains yanked as well.

But wait, there's more. See <a href=http://www.sysinternals.com/blog/2005/06/popup-blocker-
what-popup-blocker.html> THIS</a> blog from Mark Russinovich, one of the authors of four editions of Microsoft Windows Internals.

In there he outlines how Microsoft has left backdoors in the OS so that unscrupulous web sites can bypass pop-up blocking. If you're mad now, you'll be steamed by the time you finish reading the gory details Mark laid out.
