Microsoft and Claria, together at last?
Scott Granneman, 2005-07-13

I don't get mad too easily, but there's one thing guaranteed to really get me steaming, and that's when someone is lying to me. Right now I'm feeling lied to, and while I could be wrong, I don't think I am. Worse, I don't think I'm the only one who's the victim here. I think virtually all of you are having your chains yanked as well.

How about Microsoft buy Claria and shut them down? 2005-07-20

So if buying spyware companies is bad, how about buying them and shutting htem down immediately. That way MS pays for their mistakes, and we get fewer (successful) spyware companies software on out machines - or maybe that would just encourage huge numbers of new spyware companies to spring up in the hopes of being paid off by Microsoft . . . either way, privacy is dead in the dicital age - its what Microsoft does with the data that really counts. Perhaps we could bring a class action against MS uin terms of the European Convention of Human Rights Article 8, the Right to Respect for Privateand Family Life? Oh, sorry Microsoft is American, so much for the Human Rights argument then - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/4580991.stm
