Seems as if the author of the article is suggesting that there is a legal question of whether you can block IP addresses at your firewall, without evidence that there is a crime being committed from those IP addresses? That's ludicrous. Next thing I know, my local police will be telling me I can't lock my front door when I'm gone unless I have specific evidence that somebody has been trying to break in.
