Forgot one...
I will ship my products in a secure configuration. If there are access controls that should be configured by the user, I will design my product so that it will not function at all until the user reads the manual and properly configures their product.

In other words. If you have a device with wireless or ethernet connectivity, it should not function until the user sets up access controls. Initial configuration (or reconfiguration performed without strong authentication) should require physical access.

No more wireless routers with "plug them in and they are wide open to the world" configurations, PLEASE.
