I Think Embedded systems being developed as task centric devices unlike the multipurpose computer systems.do not really make intresting targets for hackers.and they do impose sort of difficulties in finding bugs n exploiting by the virtue of platform diversity and compactness,lesser user friendlyness. suggest some more reading on Embedded System hacking challenges n methodology
