Skype security and privacy concerns
Scott Granneman, 2005-09-22

One of my stranger hobbies is collecting interesting and weird anecdotes I find in the news. I have a few areas that always fascinate me, such as finding people who miraculously escape certain death, or items about human memory and cognition, or eccentric individuals who embody some strange aspect of the human condition.

This is stupid! Why does a NORMAL American get Skype? To thwart the NSA, FBI, and CIA or to communicate with friends, family, and business associates with RELATIVE security from hackers, phrackers, and identity thieves? I think Skype works rather well against the later. Don't worry about Law Enforcement info request FAXES to EBAY Einstein... They go to EBAY S E C U R I T Y... What type of employees do you think work there? Do you think they can't verify a fake fax? You think they don't know the letterheads from the alphabet soup... they used to work for them too... Duh!
