Skype security and privacy concerns
Scott Granneman, 2005-09-22

One of my stranger hobbies is collecting interesting and weird anecdotes I find in the news. I have a few areas that always fascinate me, such as finding people who miraculously escape certain death, or items about human memory and cognition, or eccentric individuals who embody some strange aspect of the human condition.

I got on my computer the other morning and had a conversation going which had to be skype. I was of some Arabic speaking men and lasted about 10 minutes and wasn't because the call ended but it finally faded out. It had to be skype because I have nothing else on my computer that could have done that. It prompted me to look up the security of skype before making calls on it because most of my transactions are 100 million plus.
