If people are willing to kill and be killed (or kill themselves) for their ideals, hacking a poor kid's computer is nothing.
I would have to agree with the original poster: this is the most rose-colored-glasses statement i have read in a very long time. I hope i'm misunderstanding what You wrote, but i've read it over and over, and i can't find another way to interpret it.
