If we continue our success in developing a permanent political majority, it should be relatively easy to insure that this situation endures.
Let's face it: the power available to the chief executive and commander in chief of the most powerful nation on the planet, coupled with control of the legislature and judiciary effectively DOES elevate you above the law.
Couple that with the climate of fear in our country, and we will likely be able to hold onto this power for a long, long time.
