I would have to say that every one of those ideas is so incredibly dim-witted and naïve that I don?t know what to address first. First of all how could one say that vulns don?t cost the dev shops money?I suppose all the man hours used to address the issue and create a resolution are donated by the employees?also lets not fine the organizations that release the source code because free and open is the path of the righteous?but lets have the Government regulate computer use.
?and just so I?m not brining insults to the discussion. How about organizations (all organizations) incurring penalties for NOT fixing vulnerabilities.
