This Means Warcraft!
Mark Rasch, 2006-04-03

A recent World of Warcraft case involved a WoW book by Brian Knopp that was being sold on eBay. It resulted in automated takedown notices by "lawyerbots" and shows how the legal process today can end up silencing legitimate uses of trademarks and copyrights.

Great Story! 2006-04-07

I?m glad people are finally starting to see, and write about, the many different angles our government?s allowing citizens to be screwed over by the corporations that line our congress? pockets. The DMCA and many other bills have stripped nearly all our rights when it comes to the Internet or anything technological. Our lawmakers despise technology and know only what these multi-million/billion dollar companies ?teach? them. It?s become very clear that our lawmakers are simply drones carrying out their lobbyist?s agendas. The DMCA, Patriot Act, Patriot 2 Act are all proof. When our lawmakers don?t even read the entirety of a bill they?ve signed just goes to show how mindless and trusting they are towards there lobbyist ?friends.?

Keep up the good work Mark, the more people understand the downfalls and dangers of the DMCA and what it will continue to do to our country can only help.
