You write "I enjoy the thought of a spammer needing a giant Bewolf cluster ranked rather high up in the Top 500 ... list of supercomputers to send one piece of spam to ten million people." But what you didn't think about is _legitimate_ mass mailers like the US political action group "MoveOn.org" Should they be required to buy a supercomputer to communicate with their willing members?
