Business users should have a corporate licence and there are many options, nearly all of which have a single product key, therefore the security side of things will not effect them, or they have a software leasing agreement (OVS for small/med or Enterprise Subscription for larger corporates) again this will not affect them.
For software developers / testers / reviewers etc etc they should sign up to technet/msdn where they can use the MS software in an almost unlimited fashion as long as it is in a pre-production/testing enviroment.
As far as linux users having to pay for software they don't want .... should Microsoft care ... nope not if you're wearing a buisness hat.
Don't get me wrong I'm not a Microsoft fan boy but claiming Paul Ts views are one sided when yours so clearly so clearly are is more than a little cheeky.
I work in the industry an industry which in part was formed on the back of MS ... are they perfect ???... nope far from it (multiple versions are a pain in the backside I agree !!) but there are other companies charging far more for vastly substandard products ...
