I think so - many couples do not go trough the trouble to set up separate accounts on their home computer: This may be taken with suspicion, does he/she have something to hide?
1) Could it be then, that HE put the intimidating material there without her knowledge? Possible.
2) Her boyfriend could likely be the one doing the tech stuff, so when they decided to sell the computer she assumed he had thought of what needed to be thought of.
If any of the above is the case, then I think it is more fair to say that the blond is victim to her boyfriends lack of knowledge or laziness.
So, while this certainly should teach a lesson, don't blame the girl just because it is easy.
One thing you can blame her for though: Giving away the password, disregarding all the other knowledge, is naïve, in particular if that same password is used elsewhere.
