As more applications are programmed to work with it on Vista, they'll work well when run as a Restricted User (i.e., a member of the Users group only) on XP. This means that admins who have been fighting desktop support battles for years because their users run as admins can start migrating them down to standard users as software compatibility with Vista improves -- regardless of if your users are on Vista or XP.
