Substitute teacher Julie Amero faces up to 40 years in prison for exposing kids to porn using a classroom computer, but the facts strongly suggest that she was wrongfully convicted. Many issues remain, from the need for an independent computer forensics investigation and the presence of spyware and adware on the machine, to bad or incomplete legal work on both sides of this criminal case.

You sound like someone on the jury, an excellent example of the reason the unemployed and the unemployable always seem to end up deciding such cases. The lack of understanding people have about how pop-up ads work, how material can be displayed on your screen without you clicking on anything, and the quick condemning attitude people have with no regard of the facts amazes me. All it would take is to open such a web site, and you would then see that you can't stop these ads from opening. But you care little about this. You want to blame the teacher instead of the pornographer. Or is it because the teacher was a female?
