Good article, though I don't think it will put any lawyers out of business; they will just change fields: consider
-bringing your laptop from one network to another say your vacation home back to your normal home or office - will it go "off"?
-hackers flooding/DDOS and generating thousands of "LoJack laptop" signals, especially if they can route them through something like TOR
-people reporting "their" laptops stolen to track down others - think of the Jerry Springer shows that could come out of that ;-)
