Tim's column was not about security measures, or FUD. It was that be critical to every application you install on the system. Eventhough Oracle was shouted to be secure, at same time it was demonstrated to have remotely exploitable vulnerabilities. Features and measures did not affect that. Oracle was just an example. Open your eyes.
