The world of computer security can often be a strange and compelling one. Many outsiders, or those with little knowledge of computers, just dont understand the whole uproar over various issues, such as whether Microsoft Vista is more secure then Linux or Mac. Its all moot as far as the general population is concerned. But, for those of us who work in the industry, it is just more grist for the mill.

There is a difference when handling a security incident , on a personal LAN and bragg about it to friends, ....
to a scheduled Security Audit , which is being paid by a corporation and they expect proffessionals, privacy, and a certain way of presenting things.
This is not something that Auditors can bargain. This is a status quo , which is enforced in bussiness world. You can not look or talk like a leet hacker or some arrogant technician.
They expect proffesional level and that is what they are paying for.
People in IT Sec industry , are considered to be the most specialized persons when it comes to IT implementation and monitoring. As such , you are not entitled at any way, to behave like an 18year-old guy who thinks , that his knowledge is the sole tool , to help him , climp up the ladder of ranking in IT.
