Really, this is just a bad analogy, and your argument fails because you're trying to be clever instead of smart. Automobiles and software? Do you really want the software/technology industry to be taxed and regulated the way the automobile industry has been? People don't get 3rd degree burns over 90% of their body because ports on their PC are listening by default. Your writing lacks the editorial skill necassary for a proportioned and mature argument. Microsoft bashing is not the answer--but I guess it sure feels good, eh?
