I dont believe that you should be able to sue a company for a security flaw. All programs have bugs. One bug is all a good hacker needs to be able to compramise a system. You cannot hold the programmer responsible for a bug he does not know exists. Thats like the ford explorer tire problem. Do you remember they had defective tires. (i dont remember but i dont believe they got sued) Anyway, They didnt know the tires were defective, should they have been sued even though they fixed there problem? I would understand if they put out the program knowing it had the bug. If that were the senerio then i say sue the **** out of them. Thats just like puting a chunk of meat infront of a starving dog. Im only 20 so my views on such things probably arent of much importance to you all. But i thought i would write and say that all programs have flaws. Flaws can be used to compramise the system. If all programs have flaws. Are you saying that we should sue every software writer in the world?
