This is really the only argument I have ever heard in opposition to "ethical" hacking. Maybe that's why I hear it repeated, over and over, with no explanation and no foundational reasoning. "It's like breaking into someone's house." Really? How?

I think anyone who isn't aware of the idea that anything they plug into the internet is equally liable to be accessed by UN-ethical persons, as well as (gasp! OH NO!) *ethical* persons, has no business plugging it in in the first place.

If you aren't prepared to play the game, get off the field. And, please, don't post exactly the same comment as everyone else.
