On December 24, 2008, the Pakistani Whackerz Cr3w defaced a part of India's critical infrastructure, the Eastern Railway system Web site. The defacement appeared on a scroll feed which read: “Cyber war has been declared on Indian cyberspace by Whackerz- Pakistan (24 Dec-2008).”

re classifying a railroad website as critical national infrastructure, I think that is arguably appropriate. I personally depend on the web for scheduling and other travel information, and railroads are a (the?) major transportation means for the Indian subcontinent. Would voice telephone access to airline customer service be a part of the US critical transportation infrastructure? I think it would be, and I don't see web access as being very much less important.
