The Shadow Knows . . .
And here is a lot of the problem with both slow apps and network security/mgmt efforts: unnecessary network traffic. If we can eliminate this from programs, router filters will not bog down their platforms, IDS systems will detect more with fewer drops due to overruns, bandwidth usage will become more manageable, systems will perform and respond like they were hoped when they were bought/contracted, etc. I'm glad someone out there who is obviously concerned both recognizes this issue and had something to say.
