Industry's push for new exemptions from the Freedom of Information Act is unnecessary and dangerous.

Democrazy (1 replies)
Democracy which essentially means power to the people, is reduced to a caricature of itself in the United States of (aren't we f'in Great) America. Information on things that affect the people should be available to the people, there is no more to it than that. The governement should act as a referee not supporting either industry or people. Of course in the USA, with a monkey in the oval office and Enron & co holding the bananas there is nothing that remotely smells like democracy...let alone a just Freedom Of Information Act.
