Mr Shane Coursen find out the solution not only for HTML mail but for a big percentage of virus propagation. Oh! Oh! Oh!

The problem, Mr Coursen, is that SMTP protocol was created under unprotected environment. So it alone do not have mechanism to save end users (innocent) to keep your postoffice safe and secure.

The problem increases when some enterprises creates applications with a lot of bugs and security faults, and some administrators does not take care with security.
And some peoples take this application as "default".
Oh! Gosh! Such inocense is dangerous...

Pegasus, Eudora and a some other applications handle this problem under security point of view.

As you said. HTML is beautifull. A snake is also beautifull as soon as a crocodile (under ecologist point of view, of course!)
