that helps protect a computer, like say a firewall,
database (for passwords), etc. Part of the purpose of
using Open Source software is to allow people to
use Obsolete hardware.. Now the concern is eliminating
the obsolete software, who will come to its rescue..
I think it would be sufficient just to have a warning message popup somewhere than to eliminate the utility of
the software. Its the system administrators own damn fault
if she lets obsolete and security-hole ridden software
manage user's accounts, but its the software developers
bigger damn fault to have the holes in the first place and,
its even bigger a damn fault if the one responsible
enforces a time-limit on something which is hoped not
to fail for any reason.
By the way, how much did bill pay you?
