It's a nice pipedream, but please let ME manage MY systems how I want to. You have the time to upgrade every time some attack comes out - fine. Update everything BEHIND your firewall. Hell, come to my house and business and update everything of mine too. As for me, I'm only going to really worry about the firewall and a couple of other critical boxen... the rest of it I'm not gonna worry about, and don't want to be forced into doing anything...
By the by - read /. and see what the ratio of "shit idea:good idea" is...
