Don't blame Microsoft. They gave you the patch; it's your responsibility to use it.

This is akin to blaming the mortician for the death of the "customer". What business, process, or development cycle allows one to continuiously "patch" its products. Medical equipment, automobiles, phones, or electric blankets don't have nearly the product cycles that this "industry" (oh yeah, that's "software industry") does. What would you say to the car dealer if you had to expect, and it could be at anytime, that the engine will spuriously reboot...it could be going around a corner near the the sea-side cliff resort..but that is your problem. I don't get paid to install problems...or is that what we should be doing...I think I'd rather be in the business of creating problems...that way I can avoid responsibility!
Get a real job sysadmins, start coding your own ASM boot loaders and OS's...because...the sky is falling.
