Looks like someone is writing a "safe" article because their past works have bombed more than a flight wing in a gulf war...


Anywho... I think you're missing a larger scope of this. Companies themselves need to put more energy into understanding their networks than simply paying some guy to do it. If more people higher in the tiers would understand what exactly are threats to the business, maybe then the "minimalist" ideas would start to penetrate the thicker skulled MCSE toting fruitcakes who work some of these larger server farms.
