Well, with all of this bickering - I just have to say that we should give benefit to Microsoft for opening up the PC market home base. I doubt I'd ever want a Unix/Linux box that with all of this "open source" code that has limited application functionality that I need to complete my daily activities. I think you guys need to give credit and realize that operating systems have certain functionalities and services that other O/S can provide that Unix can't. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Unix.. I'm not paying Oracle either when I can get MS Money or other pretty decent third party apps to do my finances, etc. "Open source" usually means that everyone wants to build their own code. At least we can get some kind of standard in the market, so that I can get my work done. Can't we all get along?
