It is time for "security enhanced linux" to be put on the front burner NOW!

100% of distros should be 100% SE Linux
100% of distros should be 100% SE Linux

In my experience people are resigned to using MS, not happy about it. Contrast that with the x86 processor world.
I correct you thus:
I am resigned to using x86 and am NOT happy about it. Over the years (the pentium-II -> 3 days in particular) I have purchased lots of x86 chips from Intel because the competition just wasn't up to snuff. Moreover, I hate CISC. I want RISC. But RISC costs a shitload, and doesn't run a large percentage of the applications I need.
The 32-bit architecture is on its death bed. Soon, a new system will come along (from AMD, Intel, IBM, someone else?). Because of Moore's law, all MS needs is a good emulation layer and it can "force" people to use whatever hardware it wants.
If the choice is between 32-bit linux and 64-bit windows, Joe Sixpack chooses the bigger number and the familiar name.
