"Spyware" isn't harmless software when it starts hijacking your browser, downloading updates, and displaying adult porn images to small children.

why is IE worth while. If it were it would protect itself and the system from driveby installs. It doesn't.

In fact MS should be sued under product liability laws for a defective product.

MS is in the buisiness to make $$. But that doesn't mean they shouldn't take care of their customers....
