It is possible as well that IP Spoofing can be a useful tool for computer users. Allow me to explain.

I work at an internet gaming centre and as much as we try, there are and always will be users who abuse the ability to play online. As such, on more than one occasion, we have had our IP banned. We are currently exploring the possibility of IP spoofing as a means of circumventing this ban.
