No reason to cry and moan, if you don't like it go write one better...
This man just happened to give you good advice.
Yes dynamic web servers are pretty much standard now, but you can always expand on this yourself.
You aren't 2 years old, and should be able to walk away and implement further technologies under the same concept.
Overall, keep the flames out when someone's trying to help you.
