Yeah in unix just su to another user before using firefox. I've always had a user account called "webbrowse", because a zeroday sploit in my browser could potentially eat my ~ directory and that'd be bad. So why not sudo to webbrowse and run mozilla through that? What's the worse that can happen? I lose the ~webbrowse directory. Which is also where my downloads end up. So worse case I lose the files I downloaded and didn't transfer to my own ~.
Seriously it's so easy to do I'm surprised more (or atleast one) distro doesn't do something like that out of the box.
