This article explores measures to attack those malicious attackers who seek to harm our legitimate systems. The proactive use of exploits and bot networks that fight other bot networks, along with social engineering and attacker techniques are all discussed in an ethical manner. Part one of two.

At least one more good article about a real security and not about burrowing deeper into the lawyers' ass... There's NO any "innocent third party" who was used to attack you - it's GUILT because of leaving the system opened for subvertions. There's no "steal from one who stealed something from you" - it's a self-defence... Or when someone kicks your in the face at dark street you'll be citing a Code of Law or just hit him back? Attackers must be : disharmed for you, diverted and destroyed - if it's a bot network - destroy 'em all. In hardware level, if possible.
