What I meant is that I don't believe the cards would support Key Exchange (yes, I know it is encryption). I believe that the smart card would have to provide more storage and a processor to support this. If this is the case then the card does not support the level of encryption features required to secure the system. That is what I meant, that I don't believe you can solve the problem with encryption with the CURRENT CAPABILITIES of the card.
