I am also a victim of someone using my credit card, how they got all the info is another question. I was lucky that Citibank contacted me after there was a large purchase made in the UK. But that was after the person purchased airline tickets in the United States to fly over. Those charges and any others they charged I have to dispute....good thing I at the doctor in California when they flew out of NYC. The one thing that I wish is that Citibank would give you more direction in what you should do to protect yourself after this happens and would be more forthcoming about answering questions you have. I called them back after the original call to ask more questions....and got no help...just told to wait for the paperwork.
